5/12/2008 - Baseball Senior Bill Hoffman (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) has been named to the weekly BIG EAST Honor Roll and is also the Philadelphia Big Five Baseball Pitcher of the Week, it was announced today. Hoffman tossed an eight-hit complete game to pitch Villanova to a crucial 2-1 victory over Rutgers on Sunday afternoon.
5/4/2008 - M. Track Reigning champion in the 5,000m, senior Bobby Curtis held on to his title as he claimed the 2008 championship in the event racing to the finish line in 14:23.47 on the final day of competition in the 2008 BIG EAST Outdoor Championships held on the Jumbo Elliot track in Villanova, Pa.
5/6/2008 - M. Track Villanova's rich history and tradition of Olympians will continue in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Since the 1948 London Games, at least one Villanovan has competed in at least one event at the Summer Olympiad. In the 2008 Games, Villanova will have representation from two former athletes.
5/8/2008 - Softball Senior Jackie Dempsey was named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team as announced at the conference's annual championship banquet held at the Marriot Downtown Louisville on May 7.
