VILLANOVA, PA.--- The Steve Lappas Radio Show will tip-off the 2000-01 season on Sunday, Nov. 12, from 8:00-9:00 p.m. live at Gullifty's on WPHT 1210 AM. The show can also be heard via the internet at www.villanova.com. Gullifty's is located just up the street from Villanova Stadium at 1149 Lancaster Avenue in Rosemont Square, Pa.

The one-hour call-in show is hosted by color commentator Whitey Rigsby and will provide a recap of past Villanova basketball games, as well as a preview of upcoming contests. Throughout the one-hour program, Rigsby and head basketball coach Steve Lappas will take questions about all aspects of the Wildcat basketball program, in addition to fielding questions concerning all the teams in the Big East Conference, as well as on the national scene.

The Steve Lappas Radio Show will feature a special contest during the 2000-2001 season. The 10 fans who attend the most shows will be entered into a final drawing on Feb. 25, to win the grand prize of two U.S. Airways tickets, accommodations, and VIP tickets to the Villanova versus Miami men's basketball game on March 3, 2001 in Miami, Fla.
