PHILADELPHIA--The Villanova University men's lacrosse team lost to St. Joseph's University 17-11, at Finnesey field on the campus of St. Joseph's University.
Villanova was led offensively by three sophomores as Eric Dauer had three goals and a assist, Tom Lasky and Tom Hourican each netted to goals. Other scorers for the Wildcats freshman Andrew Bogle, senior Jeff Huber, junior Dave D'Amico, and sophomore Chris Larson each tallied one goals in the losing effort.
The Hawks were lead by Bill Oakes who scored four goals. Between the pipes for Villanova junior Brendan Keneally had 6 saves and for the Hawks Ryan McQude had 19 saves.
With the lose the Wildcats fall to 2-5 on the season. Their next game will be at home against fourth ranked Johns Hopkins Blue Jays on Saturday, April 4, at 1:00 pm.
