Rainouts Stall Play for Wildcat Softball
Four consecutive games postponed.

VILLANOVA, Pa. - With the cancellation of the City Six Softball
Tournament on March 14-15 due to
rain, a streak was started which would span four consecutive games.
Scheduled to play the
University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday March 18 at 2:30 p.m., the game
was rained out and
rescheduled for a later date.
On Thursday, March 19, the Cats matchup
with area-rival Temple was
also postponed and rescheduled for Monday, March 23 at 2:30 p.m. Set to
kickoff their Big East
season on Saturday, March 21 against Connecticut, rain once again put a
damper on Villanova's
schedule as the game was cancelled and has yet to be rescheduled.
